Yvonne

Yvonne - variously a mother, fiction writer, one-time foreign editor of Beijing Review and teacher of English while resident in China, now lives in Tasmania.

Coming from the town of Young, NSW - Yvonne, like others of her generation, developed a keen political sensibility in the late-1960s and participated in the feminist movement of the 1970s. In the 1980s she started a children's radio programme at Sydney educational broadcaster, 2 SER FM, while studying for her BA Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney.
